Daniel Whyte III has spoken in meetings across the United States and in twenty-three foreign countries. He is the author of ten books. He is the President of Torch Ministries International, which publishes a magazine called The Torch Leader. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Bethany Divinity College and a degree in Religion from Texas Wesleyan University. He is married to the former Meriqua Althea Dixon, of Christiana, Jamaica. God has blessed their union with seven children.

Rev. Kevin D. Barnes, Sr.

Rev. Kevin D. Barnes, Sr. was born and raised in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. He is married to the lovely Brenda Barnes and is the father of three sons: Kevin Jr., Keith, and Kenneth Barnes. In July 1986, Pastor Barnes received his license to preach and delivered his first sermon at his home church, White Oak Grove in Oakland, CA. Pastor Barnes attended the Bay Cities Bible Institute and the Sacramento Theological Seminary Bible College, and was later ordained a minister of the Gospel. He was elected pastor of the Abyssinian Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland, CA in January 1992. Since being elected Pastor, his primary focus has been winning souls and encouraging the people of God.

Samuel L. Madison is the president and founder of Intelligent Faith Ministries based out of Atlanta, Georgia. He is a minister in the work of the Gospel and he has a Master's degree in Education from Columbia State University. He has written numerous commentaries and editorials regarding both the spiritual and moral state of Black America, and they have been published in Christian and Black magazines such as the Intelligent Faith Editorial Journal, as well as The Torch Magazine. He is husband to the lovely Juanita Madison and he is the proud father of three children, Daryl, Natosha, and Santosha.

Mrs. Meriqua Whyte

Mrs. Meriqua Whyte is the wife of Daniel Whyte III, author of national bestselling books: Letters to Young Black Men and Letters to Young Black Women. They have been married for 20 years. She is the author of the book, The Thanksgiving That Almost Wasn’t, and she co-authored, with her dad and mom another book for young women. She also assists her father in the work of the ministry. Her next book is entitled 365 Days of Thanking God. She is also a college student, in a dual college-high school program.
